The Controls Window The Controls Window allows you to search the software and outside of the learning environment. Search You can use the Classroom Companion ™CD-ROM search window to search for a desired topic or phrase. To perform a search,type the search topic into the "Keyword " query box..Then choose the categories you want to search by clicking the box next to the appropriate item (library,presentations,etc).When that is completed,click the search button to begin looking for your desired information.The program application will then search the categories you selected for the keyword you entered in the query box.If you select "internet" the application will display the results of your search in your web browser. Help The help button provides information and answers to questions students have about the Classroom Companion ™ CD-ROM.When you click on the button,you will see the online help menu. Help topics labeled with a Faulkner Press text document icon will open an online tutorial in your computers web browser. The online tutorials are provided to give you some familiarity with the application without having to read a lengthy instruction manual.These interactive guides will take you through the intricate workings of the CD-ROM.
